>> What is Digital Department about?

::I've created Digital Department (or DD in short) to show people my progress as a graphic designer working for mc2, a student TV here in Slovakia funded by Slovak University of Technology and a photographer (mostly the first one). To share my two cents with the rest of the world. Moreover, I've always loved to write blogs and journals so I thought - hell, why not? It may be fun after all. Who knows?

Victory Beat 2010, part 3 (duh!)

:: Hello there, my "die hard fans". :D (oh, sarcasm, I love you)

As you can read from the heading, I continue in the project which started this whole blog. It's a web design which should serve for a music contest that will take place sometime in the next year and it's being done for mc2.

Previously, I wrote that our coder had told me to change the layout as the original one was completely unusable. So I took another try and slightly modified the last design because I didn't and don't want to change the overall look. Now, it's not unusable, it's just plain and bare. Well, butter my buscuit, boy but I really don't know what to add. Any ideas, guys?

Here's the sneak peak at the actual design.

Victory Beat 2010, The war wages on

:: Hello there!

I'm back again and I come bearing update as I promised previous week. I had a chat with our coder and with one of my fellow graphic designers and the overall idea was to make the concept less complicated thus making the design easier to navigate and more intuitive for possible visitors. Well, I did evereything I could. What you can see below is a strong WIP so there are mistakes here and there and a lot of things is still missing. Just wanted to keep you updated on my progress. It took me 2 hours to do it. At least 30 minutes took up making of the new buttons up from the scratch. Real pain in the ass but I like the outcome.
